After another company quoted us $9700 to replace our unit, we called David for a second opinion.

David arrived within 15 minutes. Very friendly. Told us someone had disconnected the outside main unit. We told him about the other company coming out who said our A/C was "too old to fix", "they don't make that coolant any more", "your unit is leaking", "your coils are shot".  David determined the only thing wrong with the unit was the attic motor was not working. He said he could replace it with a new one for about $1200 including installation, but our outside unit could last several more years. The other company never said anything about the attic motor. We're convinced the other company only wanted to push their $9700 sale on us. We believe they unplugged the outside unit to demonstrate it was not working on purpose. They left us in an 80 degree house for three days going back and forth.

By the way, David said a new unit should only cost less than half of what the first company quoted!!!

We'll be calling David for all of our A/C and Heating needs, and recommending him to everyone we know!
